Undergraduate Programs

The Department of Computer Science offers three undergraduate degree programs, a minor, and three certificate programs.

For students interested in strengthening another major with study of computing, the department offers one minor program:

Finally, students who wish to build computing skills targeted at particular professional applications, the department offers three certificate programs:

Multiple Majors and Minors within Computer Science. Some students are interested in combining two or more majors or minors from within the Department of Computer Science, in particular combining Bioinformatics with a Computer Science program. If you are interested, be sure to work with your advisor early in your major, so that you can plan your studies adequately. Also, be aware of these two departmental policies:
