Vital Statistics

I am head of the Department of Computer Science at the University of Northern Iowa, in which I am an associate professor.

Within the Department

I became department head on August 1, 2005, and so am still learning about my many new duties. For now, I continue to serve as the coordinator of graduate programs in Computer Science and as departmental liaison to Rod Library.

Within the College of Natural Science

I currently have no CNS-specific professional duties.

At the University Level

During the 2005-2006 academic year, I am chair of the Graduate Faculty. In this capacity, I represent the graduate faculty on the Graduate Council. and President Koob's Campus Advisory Group.
