Hello again 022 and 088 students, The following page now has a links to other pages about ssh secure shell, CyberDuck and Dreamweaver - we will cover all of the upload to sunny.uni.edu techniques in class this week. > http://www.uni.edu/jacobson/soupOrSundae/SnorgTeeShirts.html The main and most useful link will be the link to the Camtasia video on how to publish and upload a Flash application - which the 022 class is doing this week by Wednesday evening and which the 088 After Effects class will probably do or TRY TO DO next week, Valentine's Day week for the next After Effects assignment (rendering it to FLV and creating a Flash application to host the FLV on sunny.uni.edu). http://www.uni.edu/jacobson/soupOrSundae/PublishFLA2sunny.html 17:24 = 18 minutes 24 seconds is the length of the video. The ssh secure shell, if you use PCs, is available for free download at the following www.uni.edu web site. http://www.uni.edu/its/us/software/ Go down to the Secure Telnet row. PuTTY and SSH Secure Shell are the two choices. SSH Secure Shell is much easier to use and much more powerful than PuTTY. Unfortunately, instead of SSH Secure Shell, all of the SCC labs only have PuTTY and FileZilla for terminals and for FTP transferring of files. FileZilla is fraught with problems and also very difficult to use. You want SSH Secure Shell for your PC. For Macintosh, CyberDuck is available at the same web site. Look under the row for FTP Setup HELP. http://www.uni.edu/its/us/software/ http://www.uni.edu/jacobson/soupOrSundae/PublishFLA2sunny.html http://www.uni.edu/jacobson/soupOrSundae/SnorgTeeShirts.html I am going to have a sundae now. I was intending to have soup and sundae, but at least I'll fulfill my requirement of having either soup or sundae on Super Sunday!
