                 and PICK WHIP material this Friday.

Hi 088 VE, A, and MG students,

      Last Friday, the Write-On and Beam assignment was given in class,
and was to be due this Friday.

      It is still due and is a completely separate assignment from
the PINEAPPLE assignment that is due ONE WEEK FROM TODAY.

at jacobson@cs.uni.edu whenever you get it done.  I will extend the

Chapter 1 - Creating Simple Expressions - we will read and
             study this entire chapter.

    1. Pages 29-36 of the PDF cover the Write-on and the Beam effect.

    2. Here is an example of the Write-on and the Beam effect as part of
       the Snorg Tee shirts COMP.

    3. Here is an example that shows signing your name using the WRITE-ON
       and the BEAM effects in combination. I signed my pineapple
       assignment, after the cartoon pineapple show was concluded.

      Doing the WRITE-ON and BEAM assignment that is due this week and
is a very simple small and focused problem will get you warmed up for
next week's assignment that does the PINEAPPLE animation, and ALSO
uses WRITE ON and BEAM and uses at least one text layer and animated
text effect.
