Subject: Quiz on Friday, CD-ROM lab due on Friday....

Hi 021 students,

    Quiz topics and guide for Friday...

        1.  Excel spreadsheets and chapter 3,
                                   section B Spreadsheets and Worksheets.

        2.  CD-ROM for databases and chapter 3, section C Databases.
            Also, highlights of Excel database things we have done
            with Excel lists (recall the hands-on classes and AC/DC, etc).

        3.  Chapter 2 material and System Software versus Application
            software and Computer Software Basics as to
            licensing and shareware and public domain software
            categories.  See the system software versus application
            software lecture notes too - my distinction was different
            than textbooks.

        4.  Some PhotoShop questions again.

        We will try to finish chapter 9 on Friday, after the quiz.

        I will publish today's PowerPoint presentation on my web page
        tonight or tommorrow, but it is NOT on Friday's quiz, as it
        was chapter 9 related material.

        CD-ROM lab due on Friday is: page 154 Databases.
                   1. STEPS and      ------------------
                   2, 3, and 4 EXPLOREs.
